« Magic Devi – Erinnerung an die Zukunft »
Simone Kornfeld widmet sich der Malerei, Fotografie, Video und Installation.
Im Rahmen von «The Open Time Capsule» präsentiert sie MAGIC DEVI - ERINNERUNG AN DIE ZUKUNFT, eine Installation aus iPad und Spiegeln.
Die Videoarbeit darin zeigt keine lineare Zeitachse, sondern ein rauschendes Mosaik des Lebens. Momente, Flügelschläge der Geschichte, Rhythmen, Atmen, Schweben, das Flüstern des Universums, frei von „vor“ und „zurück“. Sie sammelt Bilder des Seins, mit und ohne uns, denn dem Kosmos ist unsere Existenz gleichgültig. Und doch speichern wir tausenfdach Erlebtes, ein halbes Leben in digitalen Archiven.

As part of “The Open Time Capsule”, she presents MAGIC DEVI – A MEMORY OF THE FUTURE, an installation featuring an iPad and mirrors.
The video work does not depict a linear timeline, but rather a flowing mosaic of life. Moments, flashes of history, rhythms, breathing, floating, the whisper of the universe — free from “before” and “after.” It gathers images of existence, with and without us, because the cosmos is indifferent to our existence. And yet, we store thousands upon thousands of experiences, half a lifetime, in digital archives.
